Eligibility, determination, and access to Ministry funded adult supports and services is provided through Developmental Services Ontario (DSO). DSO is the link into adult developmental services in Ontario.
The DSO functions to:
- provide individuals and families with information about community programs and resources
- determine what services and supports people need, confirm they are eligible and connect people to specific programs
HOW TO ACCESS SUPPORTS AND SERVICES
When an individual is interested in receiving MCCSS funded support from Community Living Tillsonburg they are referred to Developmental Services Ontario (D.S.O.) at 1-855-437-6797. Staff working for D.S.O. will begin an intake process with you and assign a navigator to you who will assist you to complete the process. Everyone referred for supports and services will complete this application and support intensity scale (SIS) assessment. When your intake process is completed they will put your name on the service waiting list. D.S.O. keeps a current waiting list for people wanting developmental services within Oxford County area.
A community planning process must look at how much funding is available, priority ranking, and suitability of an individual on the waiting list to available services.

Direct Purchase of Services
Individuals and/or their families may purchase services and supports directly from Community Living Tillsonburg. Service and supports that may be purchased include:
- in-home respite
- community participation supports
- recreational and leisure supports
